maria millar - director

Maria Millar has over 17 years of experience in market research encompassing both consumer and healthcare markets. She began her career in NZ, before moving to Australia, where she worked for 3 years, before arriving in the UK in 2001.

Prior to joining Aequus research in November 2009, Maria worked as a director for TNS Healthcare, specialising in international pharmaceutical research.

Maria describes herself as being a qualitative specialist with quantitative skills. She has a particular interest in positioning, branding and qualitative segmentation/typology development studies.

Maria has expertise across a number of specialist disease areas, including diabetes (drugs and devices), oncology (endometrial cancer), immunology (RA (adult and juvenile), solid organ transplant), women’s health (osteoporosis, sexual dysfunction), gastroenterology (GERD, IBS) and cosmetic surgery.

She holds a BA in English Literature from Victoria University, Wellington NZ, as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Opera Performance, and a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Direct Marketing Association of NZ.
